This is an IDF Local Group meet-up

  • Attendance is free
  • You do not have to be a member of the IDF to attend

What are Local Groups?

IDF Local Groups will expand your local career network - whether you are interested in learning new skills, looking for new job opportunities, new clients for your company, or a great new dedicated employee.

An IDF Local Group is a group of people who are just as passionate about design as you are. Each Local Group holds physical meetings and the agenda is to get inspired, discuss, have fun, learn and improve your career. Meetings take place in a relaxed and fun atmosphere at a local cafe, an office building, or an auditorium depending on the agenda for the meeting. For each Local Group there is also an online Local Group so you can stay in touch and help update each other on local events.

Meet-up description

Hi IDF London, let's meet up and network over coffee! Share UX design insights and resources, discuss UX problems you are facing now, or just chat about anything else. It's going to be an informal, cozy meet-up with fellow designers!

Meet-up discussion

Hi all! Please use this discussion thread to discuss IDF UXers in London interested in chatting through their course insights? held on Apr 5, 2018. Feel free to ask questions about the place, date and time, agenda of the meeting, or anything else.

Hi guys, just moved to London for starting woking at Goldsmiths University of London as Programmer and Interaction Designer. We mainly work on audo, musical and creative applications. Do you recommend any particular course?

Hi Balandino, I've just sent you an invite to the slack group where you can ask questions and chat with others taking the courses. :)

Hi Balandino,

I started in January and just finished two courses (User Experience: The Beginner's Guide & Gestalt Psychology) which were excellent and really gave you the fundamentals. You can't go wrong with either one of those as starters, then after you'll just have to see what path you want to take. They all look very tempting and you want to do all of them at one time, but to get the most out of a course (or two) I'd recommend giving your full attention to no more than two at a time.

Hi all! I've just joined IDF and I'm really looking to improve my UX skills and get to meet all you beautiful people in person! I've just moved from Graphic Design to UX and am really keen to hear about your experiences and also offer any help if I can? See you soon.

Hi Steven, I've just sent you an invite to the slack group where you can ask questions and chat with others taking the courses. :)

Hi everyone! I've just joined IDF and I'm looking to a learning curve spike !

Hi guys, looking forward to meeting all my fellow London UXers tomorrow night. On a side note, would someone perhaps be able to invite me to the IDF London slack channel? See you all tomorrow :)
