This is an IDF Local Group meet-up
- You do not have to be a member of the IDF to attend
What are Local Groups?
IDF Local Groups will expand your local career network - whether you are interested in learning new skills, looking for new job opportunities, new clients for your company, or a great new dedicated employee.
An IDF Local Group is a group of people who are just as passionate about design as you are. Each Local Group holds physical meetings and the agenda is to get inspired, discuss, have fun, learn and improve your career. Meetings take place in a relaxed and fun atmosphere at a local cafe, an office building, or an auditorium depending on the agenda for the meeting. For each Local Group there is also an online Local Group so you can stay in touch and help update each other on local events.
In this session we explore the concepts behind human-centred design and the tenets of emotional intelligence. We also look at how to improve human-centred design by leveraging emotional intelligence. The session includes interactive elements which help participants think outside the box and challenge conventional wisdom. This assists in finding the best synergy between meeting expectations while remaining creative and innovative.
As someone who values a purposeful life above all else Innocente is enthusiastically working towards unlocking potential and human performance capacity in businesses. She enjoys working with purpose-driven organisations that value their employees and what they deliver. This results in fulfilled employees who are more productive, creative and innovative. This approach is not only good for employees but also for business. Given the current economic climate and the resultant strain on our currency most clients feel the pressure of having to do more with the resources available to them.
Innocente decided to be a business woman at the age of fourteen and has never looked back. She loves the fulfilment of having a career and achieving her goals, as well as helping others achieve their's. She considers the fact that people would subject themselves, or others, to working in occupations where they find no fulfilment or joy inhumane. Her goal is to rectify this by ensuring that organisational strategy, culture, leadership and performance management systems are aligned to provide employees with an opportunity to show-up at their best in organisations. This increases productivity and positively impacts the bottom line in organisations.
Innocente is the Founder of PerformForward. The company name honours the forward-focused approach she developed which is based on over 20 years of business experience in various disciplines, including psychology, human resources, organisational development, internal communications, project management and marketing. She is also a business coach and an eternal learner who believes that continual improvement and a growth mindset provides for endless opportunity in life.
