The Michigan Human Factors Short Course will be offered the last week of July/the first week in August (July 22-27, July 29-Aug 2) in Ann Arbor, MI. This flagship continuing education course is taken by practitioners from industry and government who want to learn more about the human factors/ergonomics/usability. Some of the topics covered are controls and displays, anthropometry, human error, task analysis, biomechanics, situation awareness, environmental ergonomics, website design, and usability testing. The course is taught by 12 senior human factors professionals, 3 of who are or have been HFES Presidents. The class also has a global draw and about 15% of attendees are not from the US.
