We will give you more conference attendess because your event:
will be available to our 170,000 monthly visitors
will be added directly to the personal calendar of our iCalendar subscribers
will appear on multiple sites: Our calendar is currently the most widely used conference calendar in the areas
of User Experience, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Usability, and the like. Its calendar data is used on many sites,
e.g. British Computer Society, through our ICAL/ICS interfaces, etc.
will be listed on the main IDF community page - with thousands of daily visitors
will gain a significantly higher position in Google, Yahoo, and Bing because of our high Pagerank
(we're 10 years old and more than 16,000 websites link to use). This increases the traffic to your
conference website from search engines.
New to UX Design? We're giving you a free ebook!
Download our free ebook The Basics of User Experience Design to learn about core concepts in UX design.
In 9 chapters, we'll cover: conducting user interviews,
design thinking, interaction design, mobile UX design,
usability, UX research, and many more!
Why can’t I use an email linked to my IDF account when adding an external event?
Due to a technical restriction, using an IDF-linked email will generate an error when we add your event into the calendar.
Tip: Use the Gmail “+” trick
If your IDF-linked email is a Gmail account, you may use Gmail’s “+”
trick when adding your event. Just append a plus (“+”) sign after your
email address and after that, you can insert any combination of words or
numbers to create a different email ID for the same inbox.
Let’s say your IDF-linked email address is “email@example.com”. You
can then simply enter “firstname.lastname@example.org” when you submit your event!
