Is @RayWong or anyone in charge of this? Or should we organise this ourselves? If the latter, we should 1) figure out how we will do this meet-up, video call or in person even, and 2) change the meet-up time ourselves.

@Helen, I am slightly bias but I am an instructor for GA Enterprise Solutions and have taught for Google APAC as well. There are several UX design courses available, including IxDF and GA. Only few offer immersive courses. When you consider a course it's good to think about your expectations. Immersive is a good way to get a head start, to get a foot in the door if you're new to the industry, however it won't make you an overnight industry expert; there is no short cut to working experience and the outcome really depends on how much time you will invest before, during, and after the course. GA follows a U.S./E.U. ethos; learning-by-doing. The role of instructors is to facilitate and support you, not to lecture you.

Hi all! I am from web design background, sorry I can't attend the meet-up on Feb 3, btw... wanna know if any of you recomment the UX Design course from General Assembly? Is it really worth to pay HK$30000+ for the immersive course?
