Hi all...great first meet up lunch Friday August 4th at Even Steven's in Draper! Megan, Camilla, Seth, Bryon and I had lunch, introduced ourselves and talked about our goals for participating in this group. John, super sorry we missed you! Would love to have you join us next time! We kicked around some ideas for helping each other create or improve our UX portfolios including defining a design process and illustrating how you use it in your portfolio. We are thinking that Seth and I can facilitate a short workshop on defining and personalizing your design process and preparing to create a killer portfolio for our next meet up. Our goal for this session is to all walk away with a two key deliverables: a design process and a portfolio outline/website hosting ideas. Seth is looking into us using his office space at Nav in Draper for 3-4 hours in the evening on a Thursday or Friday in Sept. Please voice your ideas, opinions and scheduling thoughts here and we will hone in on an actual date and time. Feel free to provide other suggestions for things you are interested in learning and creating at future meet ups! Thanks! :)
I will be out of town and unable to attend this time. Would you be willing to post the meeting agenda or "minutes"? I would really appreciate hearing about the first lunch meeting and what is on the horizon.
