Hi all! Please use this discussion thread to discuss Coffee + UX Meetup held on May 6, 2018. Feel free to ask questions about the place, date and time, agenda of the meeting, or anything else.
There doesn’t appear to be much movement on this meet-up as far as time and location goes.
Might I suggest joining the UXPA meet up May 14 at Paupers Pub from 7-10. Not sure if you have to be a member, just let them know you’re attending so they can plan for it.
You should join the UXPA anyway, as it is the local body for all UX professionals in the GTA and it is very reasonable to join.
How many people are coming? if the weather is nice we should meet outside somewhere like queens park? we can walk up along philosopher's walk and head to the Tim Horton's at Bedford and Bloor?
I don't drink but there are a ton of pubs in that location so we can spill into one afterwards.
I say someone should suggest a possible location. I realize it's a coffee group, but few places could handle the influx of 26 people. Perhaps a quiet pub would work better for such a large group? More convivial as well. Just a thought.
