How to Join Our Team: Your Checklist

  1. Start drafting an email with a short introduction about yourself, and a few brief lines about your experience in teaching UX design as well as what you’re looking to gain from the role.

  2. To this, please add links to your updated LinkedIn profile, as well as your online portfolio site.

  3. Please add in your current city and country of residence, current place of work and whether you are interested in a full-time or a part-time position.

  4. If you’re interested in a part-time position, please indicate how many hours you’ll be able to commit per week.

  5. Attach your résumé/CV, or include a link to your LinkedIn profile.

  6. Send your application to paul@interaction-design.org ensuring that your application reflects what we can expect from you in terms of perfectionism.

Our Hiring Process

  1. Application

    Evaluators: 2 senior members of the relevant team

    All applications we receive are thoroughly evaluated. Evaluators will score your application and “job fit” independently, so as to not influence each other. After evaluations are cast, the hiring team holds a meeting to establish which candidates will progress to the next step.

  2. Short Written Test

    Duration: A few hours (in your spare time over the course of a week)

    Evaluators: 2 senior members of the relevant team

    You will be provided with a short role-specific written test that will need to be completed and returned within a week.

  3. Cultural Interview

    Duration: 45mins

    People present: Design Educator in charge of Bootcamps

    You’ll have an online video interview with a senior team member where you’ll learn more about the role, and we’ll learn more about you.

  4. Job Offer

    Congratulations!

    If you accept our offer, you’ll sign the agreement and we’ll celebrate that you’ve just become our newest colleague!
