Swapnesh (Swapo to his friends) is the co-founder of Omniscient Software, a Product Engineering Services company based in Pune, India.
Swapnesh was earlier the co-founder of CashTech Solutions a leading provider of transaction banking software products across South-Asia, Japan, Middle East and United States. Swapnesh was instrumental in establishing CashTech’s presence in the United States, out of Cambridge, MA and thereafter for bringing in a private equity investment from Warburg Pincus, as well as for establishing CashTech’s footprint in South-Asia out of Singapore.
Thereafter, Swapnesh headed the Banking and Financial Services division of Datamatics Limited an IT Services Company based in India, US and UK. At Datamatics he worked with companies like Sungard, PostFinance, GL-Trade and Algorithimics.
Swapnesh has a Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo, NY, a Masters Degree in Industrial Design from IIT, Bombay and the Bachelors Degree in Production Engineering from VJTI, Mumbai.
