Robert S. Fish is Director of the Pansonic Digital Networking Laboratory in Princeton, New Jersey, USA. This laboratory specializes in computing and communications technologies as applied to the area of consumer electronics. Current technology foci include interactive digital television and ubiquitous peer-to-peer networking.
Dr. Fish received his Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from Stanford University. Prior to joining Panasonic, Rob worked at Bell Laboratories and Bellcore where his activities and publications focused on computer-supported cooperative work (CSCW) and its underlying networking technologies.
Professionally, Rob is the chair of the permanent steering committee of the IEEE Consumer Communications and Networking Conference. He is also a member of the IEEE Standards Association Corporate Advisory Group.
