Frank Wales is a software developer with long experience in online systems, and previous experience in embedded and (physically) portable systems. Much of his work has been in creating tools for other developers, and from that stems his interest in the psychology of programming.
He co-founded one of Britain's longest-established internet businesses, and continues to develop and consult for online projects such as www.oed.com .
He has a diverse educational background, with a science degree that incorporates equal measures of computing science, biological and medical science, and the theory and history of Western music.
