Carola Fellenz Thompson is senior director of the Methods team in the user experience group at SAP Labs,LLC.
Carola has been designing the user experience of a broad range of software products and services for the past 13 years. She has extensive experience supporting the entire product design lifecycle including field research, user and task analysis,requirements analysis and project scoping, interaction design,information architecture, user interface design, brand integration and usability testing.
Carola has worked with a diverse set of user bases: from consumers to system administrators and network operators. She has experience designing for varied platforms including wireless web and web applications, web sites,and desktop applications. She brings a broad perspective to her work, spanning the disciplines of user-centered design, graphic design, computer science and business.
Carola has over 17 years of software development experience in companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500 including SAP, Openwave, Phone.com, Cisco Systems,Inc.,Onebox.com, Sun Microsystems, Objective Systems Integrators and IntelliCorp.
