Antonina Dattolo is assistant professor in Informatics at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Udine. She received the Laurea degree with full marks (cum Laude) in Computer Science from University of Salerno (Italy) in 1990 and the Ph.D in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from University of Naples Federico II in 1997. In 1995 she was a visiting PhD student at UCD (University College of Dublin) and in 1996 at the Multimedia Research Laboratory of University of Southampton (UK) and at University of Hull. From 1998 to 1999 she received from University of Salerno an European co-funded post-doctoral fellow on “Technologies of Information and Communication – Cultural Heritage”. In these two years, she coordinated an European Raphael project on “Pompeii Regio I: Conservation Project”. In 2000, she received a research grant from University Federico II of Naples on “Computational Statistics and Hypermedia models: theory and applications”. From 2001 to 2007 she is assistant professor in Informatics at the Department of Mathematics and Applications of the University Federico II of Naples. On October 2007, she moved to the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Udine. She taught various university and european master courses in the field of Computer Science (among others, Multimedia and hypermedia systems, Web technologies, Technologies of information and communication, Programming Languages) for both scientific and humanistic faculties. Her research interests include concurrent architectures for distributed hypermedia models, AEH (Adaptive Educational Hypermedia), LCMS (Learning Content Management), hypermedia authoring and versioning. She is author and co-author of several papers published in International Journals, Referred International Conferences and Books. She serves as a reviewer for International Journals, she is member of Technical Committees of International Conferences. She has coordinated some European research projects related to e-learning, computer-science and cultural heritage fields.
